You must have always thought of surfing but the ocean looked quite intimidating. So if you are planning to visit Walt Disney World make sure to try your hands on the best Disney Recreations there. For most guests at Disney Recreation attractions include the surfing lessons and classes which are offered by Craig Carroll’s Cocoa Beach Surfing School. Surfing lessons are offered at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.
These lessons are provided on particular days which include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. There are two professional instructors always present to guide and teach you about the different techniques of surfing.
This Disney recreation is conducted for two and a half hours wherein the first 30 minutes are used for land training and the rest 2 hours for training in water. Times are subject to change as per the season. Surfboards are provided which need to be used while surfing. The surfing lesson will cost you around $150 which is inclusive of tax.
Since the surfing event starts early morning you need to arrange for your own transportation however buses will be provided to get back to wherever you want in Disney world. The surfing lessons price does not provide admission to the Typhoon Lagoon, a separate admission is required if you are willing to stay there after the surfing session is complete.
Most of Disney recreations can be reserved by just giving a call at the reservation center. The same can be done if you want to experience the art of shooting the water curls.
The surfing lessons are applicable for guests aged 8 and above. If any guest under 18 years plans to call and get reservations done, parent or legal guardian permission is a must. Surfing lessons at Disney gives you the opportunity to have the entire bay for yourself and enjoy the art of surfing in a very safe, fun and controlled environment.
